Bang the drums, here we come!
almost 7 years ago – Wed, May 03, 2017 at 02:06:32 PM

Hi everyone,

I hope you've all had a fantastic weekend. We here in White Ash have been quite busy. There are a lot of preparations to make -- as we're now expecting close to two hundred and fifty new residents moving to town. Alden Construction has been working overtime to make sure everyone has a place to sleep. The Tiny house movement is particularly strong in White Ash (as the residents are overly partial to little things), so hopefully not too many of you are over 6'.  If so, don't worry, we'll make accommodations.

If you haven't joined our Facebook group, we invite you to do so. It's a good way to get to know all of us before you unpack your uhaul/Uncle Fred's truck.  I also realized while we've been tweeting and posting these fun promo videos on the interwebs, we haven't been sharing them with our most loyal backers.  That's something we're going to rectify starting now. Feel free to share with your friends.

Ten days left to go people.  Can't wait to meet you all.

As always, thank you ever so much for your support,

Charlie and the rest of Team Ash

It's the Final Countdown.

Cue Europe.

Hello White Ashians, only 68 hours to go. Hard to believe that the thirty days have flown by so quickly.  As always, we want to thank you our backers for being so supportive of the project and we look forward to welcoming you into the White Ash community.

That said, it's time for one last little push.  Right now we're only $750 away from our expand the book stretch goal. We'd love to be able to share a couple more pages of Conor and Fin's amazing artwork with you.  So tell your friends they've got till Thursday morning (9am PST) to join us all in the big move to White Ash.

Remember, U-Hauls are cheaper when you share them, Alden Construction can accommodate all comers, and White Ash doesn't discriminate against anyone on the basis of what world or plane of reality they may or may not have come from.

Thanks so much,

Charlie and the rest of Team Ash

White Ash Mining Company, we salute you and all you do for our town.

And it turn, the Miners and the rest of us here at Team Ash, thank you our backers for your continued support.  Tell your friends, only five days left to move to town.

Have a great weekend everyone,

Want to know a little more about the town...
almost 7 years ago – Sat, Apr 29, 2017 at 12:40:51 PM

Hello future White Ashians,

Some of you had asked if we could tell you a bit more about our little town before you move here.  So we talked to the White Ash Chamber of Commerce. They thought, while dated, this film might be just the thing to orient you to life in your new home.

Tell your friends, just a little over a week left to reserve your spot in town.

Thanks again,

Charlie and Team Ash

Get Gas, Worms and Crabs at the Double K
almost 7 years ago – Sat, Apr 22, 2017 at 02:39:11 PM

Good Evening, White Ashians,

Conor, Fin and I want to thank you again for the amazing outpouring of support for the book. We are humbled everyday as we see all the new people that have answered the call and generously decided to join us in White Ash.

In return, we wanted to share another sneak peak of the world with you. Tonight’s spotlight falls a bit further on the Double K Gas and Service Station. Conor’s skillfully captured the spirt of both the rural ruggedness of the station as well as the optimistic can-do dogma of its young owners, Katlyn and Kyle.

Oh and just FYI, worms are only available at the Double K during fishing season. And while we’re giving out advice, perhaps stay away from the crabs. Gas station seafood is always a bad idea. Even in White Ash.

But speaking of things you actually might want, we’ve had a couple of backers ask if they could get an extra copy of either the variant or regular cover. The answer is yes. Starting tomorrow, we’ll introduce some White Ash add-ons.

Till then, thank you again and have a marvelous evening.

Charlie
